He has been described as NBC’s “decathlete” for the wide range of events he has reported - football, baseball, tennis, golf, basketball, boxing, gymnastics, figure skating, horse racing, track and field and Olympic Games. Since joining NBC-TV Sports in 1975, Dick has earned a series of national honors and awards including numerous Emmy Awards and Sportscaster of the Year Awards. He was inducted into the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame in 1996. He highlights sports most memorable moments in his own fascinating style of speaking.
